Stake your Punker NFTs to earn $PUNK every day. But this isn't just about earning — you also have to pay taxes to stay alive. The tax rate keeps rising over time, and if you fall behind or miss a payment, other players can audit and even execute your NFT to knock you off the leaderboard.
This game is all about who survives the longest. Use your best strategy, stack as much $PUNK as you can, and stay alive until the very end.
There are 5000 Punkers in total, but only 500 will survive to the finish line. If you're one of the last ones standing, you'll earn $PUNK rewards from all the taxes and activity generated on the platform. So make sure you don't die halfway through — this is a survival game, have fun!
Getting started is simple — stake your Punker NFT and you'll start earning $PUNK immediately. But keep in mind, once you're in, the clock starts ticking.
- Stake: Lock your Punker NFT into the staking contract to start earning
- Earn Daily: Your NFT earns $PUNK every day automatically based on its rarity
- Pay Tax: You must pay daily tax from your earnings to keep your NFT alive
- No Unstake: Once you stake, there is no unstake button. You're in the game until you survive or die
- Transfer or List = Auto Unstake: If you send your NFT to another wallet or list it on any marketplace, it automatically gets unstaked and all unclaimed $PUNK is forfeited
Your NFT earns $PUNK daily based on rarity. But every NFT must also pay a daily tax — and the tax increases over time. Early days are profitable, but as the game progresses, the gap between earning and tax shrinks. Common Punkers break even at Day 51. Rarer NFTs have more breathing room.
| Rarity | Multiplier | Base Day 1 Earn |
|---|---|---|
| COMMON | 1.0x | 10 $PUNK |
| EPIC | 1.1x | 11 $PUNK |
| LEGENDARY | 1.21x | 12 $PUNK |
| 1/1 ART | 1.33x | 13 $PUNK |
Tax is the same for all rarities. The difference is how much room each rarity has to absorb it. Click each rarity below to see the full earning vs tax breakdown:

If you survive the full 60 days without missing a single tax payment, here's how much $PUNK each rarity walks away with:
You can stake at any point — but the later you join, the harder it gets. Your earn rate always starts at personal Day 1. But your tax rate follows the global game clock from the moment you stake.
Day 1 staker (Common): earns 10, pays 3 — net +7 $PUNK on day one. They've been building a buffer from the start.
Day 30 staker (Common): earns 10, pays 35 — net -25 $PUNK on day one. They're immediately in debt. One missed payment = instant execution risk with zero buffer.
Legendary earns 1.21x more — so on Day 1 you earn 12 instead of 10. The tax is identical for all rarities. That extra buffer compounds over 60 days — Legendary walks away with +788 $PUNK net vs Common's +283.
More importantly: a late-joining Legendary (Day 20) still owes 22 tax but earns 12 — still -10 $PUNK on day 1. Rarity helps, but can't fully counter late entry.
You enter AUDITED status. You now have 24 hours to pay the overdue tax + a 20% penalty. If you miss that too, any player can execute your NFT for +10 $PUNK bounty.
Late joiners are most vulnerable — they have no $PUNK buffer from earlier days, so one missed payment can be fatal immediately.
1/1 Art earns 1.33x — so 13 $PUNK on personal Day 1. Staking on global Day 10 means tax is already 12, so net is only +1 $PUNK. Barely profitable.
Stake on Day 15 and tax jumps to 22 — even 1/1 Art is -9 $PUNK on day one. No rarity is immune to late entry at high global days.
Probably not. At Day 50, tax is 63 $PUNK/day and you earn only 10. You'd be -53 $PUNK on day one with zero buffer. You'd be eliminated almost instantly. The only reason to stake this late is if you're hunting bounties and expect to earn $PUNK from executing others — but that's a very risky play.
Miss a tax payment? You got 48 hours before your NFT is dead. The system won't kill you. Other players will.
Pay tax + 20% penalty to survive
NFT is dead — Sent to Graveyard permanently
| Phase | Window | Action Required |
|---|---|---|
| 0–24h | Grace Period | Pay overdue tax — no extra penalty |
| 24–48h | AUDITED | Pay tax + 20% penalty |
| 48h+ | EXECUTED | NFT is dead. No recovery. |
See someone who hasn't paid tax? That's your target. Trigger their audit or execution and collect $PUNK for it. Hunt or be hunted.
| Action | Condition | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| 🔍 Audit | Target NFT unpaid for 24h+ | +10 $PUNK |
| ⚔️ Execute | Target NFT unpaid after 48h+ | +10 $PUNK |
Every Punker falls into one of two categories — alive or dead. There's no in-between.
Survivors:
- Active NFTs that are staked and paying tax
- Continue earning $PUNK daily
- Visible on the leaderboard
Graveyard:
- NFTs that were executed by other players for unpaid tax
- Dead NFTs stay in your wallet but can never earn $PUNK again
- Permanent death — no revival, no second chance, no exceptions
- Displayed in the Graveyard as a memorial for fallen Punkers
- Dead NFTs can be sold or transferred, but death follows the token — the new owner cannot stake or earn with it either
When your Punker dies, you can't stake, earn, or do anything with it in-game anymore. But other players can visit your fallen Punker in the Graveyard and leave a flower as a tribute. That's it. Death is permanent.
All $PUNK from taxes, penalties, bounties, and forfeited earnings go into one pool — the treasury. That's the prize the last 500 survivors are fighting over.
Leaderboard rank = total $PUNK accumulated. Updates in real-time. Every tax paid, every bounty claimed, every day survived moves you up or down.
How's it split? Based on your leaderboard rank among the final 500. Not equal. Higher rank = bigger cut. The ones who stacked the most and survived the longest eat the most.
Not all Punkers are built equal. Here's when each rarity starts sweating — and when they're most likely to die:
| Rarity | Struggle | Critical | Projected Death |
|---|---|---|---|
| COMMON | Day 22+ | Day 31+ (net +2) | Day 51 (break even) |
| EPIC | Day 31+ | Day 51+ (net +8) | Survives 60 days |
| LEGENDARY | — | — | Comfortable 60 days |
| 1/1 ART | — | — | Untouchable |

5000 enter. 500 survive. Stake your NFT, earn $PUNK daily, pay rising taxes to stay alive. $PUNK is in-game — no gas fees, no extra cost. Miss a payment and other players can audit and execute your NFT permanently. Last 500 standing split the treasury. Survive or die.
No. $PUNK is an in-game token — like points. Tax is paid using $PUNK you already earned from staking. No gas fees, no ETH, no extra money needed. Everything runs inside the game.
No. Death follows the token ID, not the wallet. Buy a dead Punker from someone? Still dead. Can't stake it. Can't earn with it. Ever.
No. No unstake button. You're in. The only exit is: survive to the end, get executed, or transfer/list your NFT — which auto-unstakes it and all unclaimed $PUNK gets burned to the treasury.
Auto-unstaked. All unclaimed $PUNK goes to the treasury. New owner can re-stake it but starts from zero.
No. List it = auto-unstake. Pick one — play the game or sell.
Unclaimed $PUNK? Gone. Straight to treasury. $PUNK you already claimed to your wallet is safe.
Anyone. 24h+ unpaid = anyone can audit you. 48h+ = anyone can execute you. They get 10 $PUNK each time. Your enemies are everywhere.
Game over. The 500 survivors split the treasury — all the $PUNK from taxes, penalties, and dead players' forfeited earnings. Winner takes all.
Yes. Same tax for everyone. Rarer NFTs just earn more so they can absorb it longer. Commons die first.
When only 500 Punkers are left alive. No fixed deadline. Players get eliminated through executions and unstaking — game ends when enough people die. The 60-day projections are estimates. Could be faster, could be slower. Depends on how aggressive the hunting gets.
Day 1. Early stakers earn at low tax and build up a $PUNK buffer. Late stakers earn Day 1 rates but pay current global tax — could be in the red from minute one. Early = more margin, more safety, more $PUNK. Don't sleep on it.
